Life for ya.

So what? We got grades probably the same time as we got schedules, I'm betting? No, that can't be right... Definately not right. But I would kind of like to know when we got them. I don't normally go through the mail, but I samll a small pile of Fitchburg things and then found one from my school at the bottom already opeed and found my grades. I'm used to my mom not giving me my final report card, but I had really wanted to know that I passed Chemistry (probably barely).

So because I can...

Grades: 4th Quarter, Final
Poetry: A+, A
Honors US Lit.: B, C
US History: B-, C
Algebra II: C, C+
Web Design I: n/a, A
Mod. Chem.: F, D
Spanish IV: C-, C
Foods: n/a, B+

I passed chemistry ^^ Well...yeah, I did. Lol. Not fourth quarter of course. Only one of my teachers left a comment...Mr. Williamson said I was a pleasure to have in class. Mrs. LaBrosse didn't say anything. Nothing. She didn't say that I never did any of my homework, she didn't say I was missing major assignments...she just left it like that. And I respect her so much for that.

*hums* Donno how I got a B- in history. I think probably from that final test saved my grade from the C I was expected. I think I got a flat out A. That exam was so flipping easy. (we could use notes though...and the test was designed for memory)

On another note. I finished the "rewrite" of chp. 3, though I only changed like...a few paragraphs...a few sentences here and there. I liked that chapter, lol.

Tonight in game we're joining with a friend's linkshell and doing missions 6-1 and 6-2. Very sweet.

Tomorrow I work. Yay. -.- Susan and I. I bet we'll both get into some "clean-everything" fest...because y'know...she's the worst when it comes to that.

TOMMOROW STARTS THE NEW SEASONS OF STARGATE SG-1, STARGATE ATLANTIS, AND BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I AM AS EXCITED AS YOU ARE ABOUT THE NEW SEASONS, AS EVIDENCED BY THE FACT I AM TYPING IN BOLDED CAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I look at your grades and can't help but wonder, if you had made little poems about your chemistry assignments, and concocted strange new foods in chem class, that you might have got a higher grade....

I gave up in chemistry. I didn't just fail the quarter, I failed a great teacher and myself. I plan on going back to her next year and just telling her that. She was a teacher that gave up on no one and saw all her students as her children, but she told us one day that she cared for the underachieving students more. I nearly cried when I walked out of her class that day; I wanted to show her that I could meet all expectations, but I didn't. I didn't want to do anything in that class, I didn't want to be there. The only reason I probably passed that class was probably because I got a B second quarter. Everything else was a D, and then that final F. I let myself fail and I knew it so utterly well.

*rambles* My head has too many monologues in it.

Oh, I'm sorry. I kinda made a joke of it, and I guess it wasn't so funny. =/

I know how you feel. I let myself fail an entire trimester of college one time, because I didn't want to be there. If you want details, feel free to come on Odin or AIM and ask. But I know how you feel. Rambling and monologues are good, though, so ramble away anytime you feel like it, k?

The class was actually pretty amusing XD I joked with my friend saying like "Haha, my grade is 20% higher!" ...when it was like...a 50...and she was a 30. That sort of thing got us through the class. Before the realization of "Oh shit, what did I do?"
